First Regional Aftermarket Center will Drive New Standard in Maximizing Uptime by Providing Rapid Replacement of Parts and Valves and On-site Machining Capabilities
HOUSTON (August 16, 2010) – Dresser Consolidated ® and Dresser Masoneilan® today announced the opening of the first of several planned Aftermarket Centers (AMCs), designed to provide dedicated service to aftermarket customers. The Houston-based AMC serves all of the Americas.
The 100,000 sq. ft. Houston facility houses more than $10 million in Dresser Consolidated and Dresser Masoneilan spare parts, MRO valves and quick ship valves, as well as a rapid response machining department. Designed to address the growing rapid response needs of customer, the features of the AMC inlcude:
• A stock of over 5,000 SKUs representing the spare parts most commonly requested by customers.
• A comprehensive machine shop and experienced machinists able to quickly produce parts for customers in as little as several hours.
• Dedicated customer service and technical representatives, who have knowledge of new and legacy valves.
